Christian Advocates for Israel (CAFI) is a North Alabama coalition from the local Christian community with a heart to honor Israel and the Jewish people for the biblical heritage received, and explore opportunities of practical advocacy in prayer and intercession, in humanitarian relief, in community outreach, and in governmental and political advocacy, in this time when anti-semitic rhetoric is growing louder and bolder.

City-Wide Feast of Tabernacles Celebration
Libation at the Water Gate!
Saturday, October 7, Ditto Landing, 4-6pm (Main Event at 6pm)
"And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the Watergate."
~Nehemiah 8:1
Ditto Landing is the historic “Water Gate" to Huntsville, Alabama! There will be a special event called “The Libation” for the entering day of the Biblical Festival of Tabernacles. The libation contains lessons of thanksgiving from the pouring out of both water and wine from pitchers in a worship order. Thanks to God for His blessings of the past year and for the year to come! Shofars will sound in unison, declarations made, and the Word of God declared with prayer and praise. If weather permits, there will be these additional features:
- Photo opp at the Sukka Seat
- Lighting of the Menorah
The Feast of Tabernacles was the greatest Unity festival of all! Every tribe of Israel, nation, kindred and tongue came to this celebration. It was an annual pilgrimage Feast to remind Israel of the time they wandered in the wilderness, dwelling in tents relying solely on God’s provision. Today we celebrate this feast with much joy knowing that, “the word became flesh and dwelt (tabernacled) among us.” |
